Frequently Asked Questions

How often will we meet?

We typically meet every 1-2 weeks, usually virtually (I welcome in person as well- if I’m in your area, give me a holler!). This frequency helps keep you on track and allows for adjustments to your plan as we go along.

Is your coaching only for women?

While my focus is primarily on women’s health, including hormonal and gut health, I welcome anyone who is seeking holistic, functional approaches to wellness.

What kind of support do you offer between sessions?

I offer email and message support through your portal between sessions to answer any questions, provide encouragement, and ensure you stay on track. This extra layer of support helps.

Do I need to follow a specific diet or take supplements?

As part of my coaching program, I provide personalized recommendations that may include dietary changes and targeted supplements based on your specific lab results and health goals. However, all plans are tailored to your individual needs—no one-size-fits-all approach!

Can I work with you if I’m already seeing a doctor?

Absolutely! My coaching complements traditional medical care. I work alongside your healthcare providers to support your overall health. It’s important to keep everyone on the same page, especially if you’re undergoing treatment.

What is included in the free coffee chat?

The free coffee chat is a 15-20 minute call where we discuss your health concerns and goals. This is a great way for us to get to know each other and determine if my program is the right fit for you.

Can I use my insurance for health coaching services?

Unfortunately, health coaching services are not typically covered by insurance. However, some clients have successfully used Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for coaching and lab work. We can discuss this on your discovery call to see if this is an option for you.

What does a typical health coaching session look like?

Each session is personalized to your needs, but generally, we’ll review your progress, adjust your plan, and address any new concerns. Sessions often focus on lifestyle changes, stress management, nutrition guidance, and reviewing lab results to ensure your health is moving in the right direction.

How long does the program last?

My coaching programs are typically 8-12 weeks, depending on your goals and needs. This allows us to focus on real, lasting lifestyle changes and dig deep into the root causes of your health issues.

Do I need to take any lab tests?

Yes, I often recommend specific functional lab tests to get a clear picture of what’s going on in your body, such as stress and hormone panels or a GI-map. These tests help me create a personalized protocol to address underlying imbalances and any gut bugs we may be unable to see based on general symptoms. I typically work by the motto “”test, don’t guess””.

What kind of results can I expect?

Results vary depending on your unique situation, (there are no guarantees when it comes to health!) but clients often experience improved energy, balanced hormones, better digestion, clearer skin, and reduced stress. My goal is to support you in feeling your best long-term, not just a quick fix. As a coach my job is to cut through all the noise of health fads out there on instagram and provide lifelong education that you can take with you for a lifetime! And I worked hard to obtain it so I’d love to share it with you if you’ll let me!

What is your cancellation policy?

I require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If a session is canceled without notice, it may be counted as a completed session. Special circumstances are always considered.
